Flooring, Cabinet & Countertop Sales Professional (Downtown Chicago-West Loop and Elk Grove Village showrooms)
Sales Associates are responsible for developing new accounts, selling flooring to existing accounts and maintaining relationships with those accounts. Success is predicated on your willingness to pick up the phone and entice potential candidates to visit the showroom and take advantage of the wholesale system we uniquely offer to trade professionals.
Qualified candidates must:
Enjoy the challenge of establishing new relationships through networking and cold calling;
Be motivated by a salary/ commission structure;
Possess strong organizational skills and be willing to follow our system;
Be comfortable using customer management software;
Have flooring, home design or furniture sales experience.
Cabinetry, countertop, and/or 20/20 experience a plus, but not required.

Designer / Project Manager
The Designer/ Project Manager will act as primary interface between clients and construction team. Tasks include meeting with clients on job sites and in show rooms, creating design documents and construction plans, sourcing materials and selecting product, ordering and tracking materials, as well as charting and communicating project progress.
The Designer / Project Manager requires multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Ability to shift focus while maintaining organization across assignments is critical. The position requires daily contact with clients, vendors, laborers, management, other designers, and interns. Communication skills and follow up are critical. Daily travel including visiting exiting job sites, meetings with clients and sourcing materials is required.
Requirements:
2+ Years Experience in Client Management or Related Field
1+ Years Drafting & Design Experience or Degree from Accredited Interior Design Program
Knowledge of construction process and architectural standards.
Proficient with AutoCAD, Illustrator, 3-D modeling software, Excel and Word
Position requires a car, transportation expenses are reimbursed.
Must be available Monday through Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm, occasionally meeting with clients outside of these hours as their schedule dictates. Weekends the DPM will not work unless there is a company function (~10% of weekends). DPM will be paid on an hourly basis at a rate negotiated at time of employment. Additionally, DPM will work as an independent contractor. DPM will be required to own or have ready access to programs such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.

As a territory sales representative you will drive project specifications through interior designers, architects, and other specifiers, leading to sales of Legrand decorative products.
As a Residential Specification Sales Rep. for Legrand you will:
-Prospect, contact, and develop new interior designers for the purpose of specifying Legrand decorative products on their residential and commercial projects..
-Create and implement training presentations specific to interior designers, architects, and other residential specifiers.
-Become active in the specifier community, including attending and presenting at national, regional, and local events for organizations such as ASID, AIA, NKBA, and NEWH.
-Conduct events at Legrand lighting showroom partner locations.
-Convert specifications to read, by name, Legrand/Pass & Seymour, Legrand/adorne, and/or Bticino.
-Assist in project takeoffs and make proposals based on above specifications.
-Establish strong relationship with Legrand/Pass & Seymour ALA manufacturers’ representatives.
-Coordinate with other Legrand salespeople to ensure specifications translate into orders and successful product installations.
