Mitchell Channon’s distinctive interiors reveal an artist’s eye toward color and materials and a strong sense of space and form. His designs join the personality of the client with the character of the home to become portraits of the client — vibrant and unique.

Award-winning designer Mitchell Channon was born and raised in the Chicago area. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Fine Arts from Grinnell College and a Masters in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Mitchell’s training in both art and architecture lends him a unique dual perspective in interior design.

Mitchell launched his practice in residential interior design in 1991. He has worked on projects from the Gold Coast to the North Shore, from Los Angeles to Minneapolis and from city lofts to expansive surburban homes. His Lakefront project received a 2009 ASID Design Excellence Award in the Single Residential Room category, and his projects have been featured in numerous notable publications, as well as on HGTV. Mitchell Channon is a licensed interior designer and a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
