Joan is the Interior Design Director with Interior Planning & Design, Inc.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Fine Art in Art History from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Joan Studied Art and Design at the Loyola University Rome Center in Rome, Italy and has completed some graduate coursework in the Architecture Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Joan is a Professional member of ASID , IIDA, and FSII, and has passed the NCIDQ exam. Her work experience as an interior designer includes positions and several Chicago architectural firms and an office furniture dealership before founding her own interior design firm in 1990. She has been an active member of ASID since 1988. Joan is a certified Feng Shui Practitioner. Joan is a LEED Accredited Professional an dis active and dedicated to Sustainable Design.
