John is recognized as an outstanding leader in the field of interior design. His dedication to deliver exceptional work, as an inspired and compelling designer, is only a part of the package that keeps his clients engaged and excited to work with him on multiple projects through the years. They all say he has patience, endurance and high tolerance. They trust him. And he has fun.

On the professional course, John was inspired by the world class architecture of the city he calls home, but unmoved by the limited creative prospects for actual working architects. So, John took a diversion from the conventional path of architecture school to challenge the emergence of imagination in the related field of interior design.

While he didn’t pass on the chance for a youthful redirection by attending art school at the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, FL, even the warm climate wasn’t enough to keep him away from his home city for long. Drawn back to Chicago and the renowned Harrington Institute of Interior Design, now Harrington College of Design, he earned his degree in Interior Design.

Throughout his career, though, Keevan Sadock was always in view. An open door to go back made it possible for him to leave the firm to gain valuable skills when he was engaged in the mid 1980’s by the Midwest Stock Exchange, now the Chicago Stock Exchange, to oversee the design and construction of their new headquarters. That broad corporate experience and those doors left open to Keevan Sadock opened more doors to a diversity of residential and workplace environments, including private residences, corporations, financial and banking institutions, professional service firms, country clubs and even yachts. His artful touch is felt in all corners of the country having worked on projects from New York to California.

Today, as sole owner of Keevan Sadock, John continues to deliver design excellence and impeccable client service upholding a reputation more than 75 years in the making.

John is a member of ASID and a registered interior designer with the State of Illinois. He has served on the board of the American Society of Interior Designers and for more than two decades supported the charitable function of the organization including the annual ASID Oak Park-River Forest Showcase House benefiting the Infant Welfare Society. His social consciousness benefits a wide variety of organizations including the American Diabetes Association Friends for the Cure, Ivory Coast Mothers and Children, Greyhound Rescue, and the Duneland Exchange Club.
