"We create beautiful, livable spaces that are tailored to your needs."
-Madeline Gelis

Whether working with a luxury penthouse or farmhouse retreat, award-winning designer Madeline Gelis and her team create a distinctly serene and gracious ambience that helps define a client's personal style. The firm is dedicated to designing stylish and comfortable interiors inspired by the smart use of space, accents and the subtle blending of textures and colors. The work begins with detailed budgets and floor plans, and the team oversees all projects while consulting with clients, contractors, vendors and trades throughout the process.

Madeline Gelis Inc. specializes in new construction and renovation and designs select interiors, from contemporary to traditional. The firm has completed the interior design of primary residences and vacation homes locally and nationally, including California, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida, North Carolina, New Jersey and New York. A refined perspective and an innovative, organized and professional approach to projects have provided the firm with an extensive reference list.

Evolving Lifestyles(TM), as featured in Crain's Chicago Business, is a service that was created for the discerning client who is looking for more than an organizer or a move manager. Madeline brings her interior design and organizational skills to meet the evolving needs of busy professionals, growing families and the 55+ active adult and retirement community. Her experienced team can refresh, edit and refine a current home, prepare a home for sale and/or orchestrate a move, creating ease in client's lives.

Madeline Gelis began her career in commercial design and then expanded into residential properties, which are now the firm's trademark. She is a longstanding professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and has served on the Board of Governors of the Chicago-based Harrington College of Design, her alma mater, where she taught design courses and received an outstanding alumni award. Dedicated to preserving the area's many rich architectural and historic treasures, Madeline has also served on the Board of Directors of Landmarks Illinois, the state's leading voice for historic preservation, and continues to be very involved. She is an active member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.

Madeline Gelis is available for speaking engagements. Past presentations include those at the Woman's Athletic Club of Chicago and the Women's Exchange in Winnetka, as well as numerous real estate firms.
