Designer Profile

Darlene has been creating richly textured, individualized design solutions for contract and residential clients since 1983, and is a graduate of Harrington Institute of Design. With a background in Contract design, function is key at the foundation of every project: efficient traffic patterns and storage, adequate lighting, appropriate fabric and finish selections, etc. Many of our client relationships have continued over two decades, reflecting our strong commitment to our client's and attention to detail. One of my favorite moments is when I revisit a project after the move-in and find the spaces being utilized just as I had envisioned. It is very gratifying to confirm that I have interpreted my client's lifestyle and anticipated their needs accurately.

Historic Chicago Board of Trade, trading firm: Through the use of a variety of accent lighting effects and a progressive artwork series, strategically placed, visual interest is added to the experience of traveling through this internal corridor.
